Strategic Location

North Bay is historically considered the "Gateway to the North". The City is ideally situated at the crossroads of trans-continental highways, railways, air, and fibre-optic routes, providing a link to the north, south, east and west for transportation and communication activities. These excellent connections to other markets ensure the rapid and economical transportation of people, products and raw materials.

North Bay is a vibrant city, servicing a regional catchment area of 103,000 people, nestled between Lake Nipissing and Trout Lake. This growing city of 54,000 residents is conveniently located just three and a half hours from major Ontario centres such as Toronto and Ottawa and a short distance to U.S. markets.
